Meet the trainers
Silvia Zanotta, PhD.
Silvia Zanotta, PhD, works in her own practice as a psychotherapist for children, adolescents,
adults, and families in Zurich. In addition to person-centered psychotherapy (Carl Rogers),
clinical hypnosis (Milton Erickson), psycho-imaginative trauma therapy PITT (Luise
Reddemann), and ego state therapy (John and Helen Watkins), she is also certified in Somatic
Experiencing® (Peter Levine), resource therapy (Gordon Emmerson), and somatic ego state
therapy (Maggie Phillips), complementing this holistic spectrum with energy
psychology/tapping acupressure. Her area of expertise is trauma treatment for children,
adolescents, and adults through a combination of ego state therapy and hypnosis with somatic
methods. She is a trainer, supervisor, and founder and co-director of ego state and resource
therapy training in Switzerland (www.egostatetherapie.ch), lecturer at the Zurich University
of Applied Psychology, and author of various articles in specialist books and journals, as well
as her own successful book publication “Wieder ganz werden – Traumaheilung mit Ego-
State-Therapie und Körperwissen” (Carl Auer, 2018). The English translation will be
published in August 2024 by Routledge, Taylor & Francis under the title: Somatic Ego State
Therapy for Trauma Healing: Whole Again.
Rachporn Sangkasaad, MSc.
Rachporn Sangkasaad, MSc., works in her own practice as a psychological psychotherapist
in Zurich, Switzerland. She is certified in Integrative Body Psychotherapy (Jack Lee
Rosenberg) at the IBP Institute in Switzerland, where she also teaches. Her area of expertise is
body-oriented trauma therapy. She is a teacher of Somatic Experiencing® (Peter A. Levine)
and teaches beginner and intermediate levels in SE. She is also a supervisor and trainer in ego
state therapy. She is also a trainer in Eye Movement Integration EMI (Danie Beaulieau),
Resource Therapy (Gordon Emmerson), and Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises© TRE
(David Berceli). Additional certifications: Somatic Ego State Therapy (Maggie Phillips),
Clinical Hypnosis (Milton Erickson), EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and numerous
body-oriented therapies. Rachporn Sangkasaad was co-founder and president of the
Foundation for Somatic Experiencing® (SE) in the Netherlands (SEN) and is a board member
of the European Association for Somatic Experiencing® (EASE). She is co-author of various
professional articles in the Netherlands and teaches SE in various European countries and in
South Africa.
